A Piece of Heaven
Exploration of the unknown is central to my work as a photographer. This fall I spent days just driving the dirt roads of southwest Colorado, with no preconceived shots in mind, just seeing what called out to me. My heart stopped when I saw these beautiful golden aspens being lit by the storm light. Complemented by the red barn and the road leading up to it, it was exactly what I envisioned when I thought of fall in the southwest.
