Frozen Dawn
Venturing out to the frozen lakefront in single digits I saw that the pilings along Fullerton Ave Beach had finally frozen. This was an event I had hoped to capture for several years, but never quite got the timing right, always arriving after the ice had melted, or when the skies were cloudy and gray. The temperature was so cold I could barely feel my fingers, but I was so excited to finally capture such a spectacular sight I barely noticed.
